New Life Norwegian gives you a good start for learning the basics of the language and progresses to the intermediate and to the advance class, so even if you already have a basic knowledge, you can still go to a higher level by joining our intermediate class or advanced class.
Working in Norway: In many cases, the knowledge of Norwegian language is necessary for getting a desired job in Norway and especially for communicating effectively with work colleagues.
However in certain job sectors a good knowledge of English (English Course) will be sufficient, for such as seasonal work in some proffesional jobs, construction industry, restaurants, or certain jobs in the hotel, yet not quaranteed without a basic knowledge of Norwegian language.
Most job require that job applicants must have a basic knowlege of the language, or either pass the Norwegian for Foreigners course level 3 exams, or the national written Bergen Norwegian Language Test to be eligible for employment.
International Students: Non-Norwegian students who wish to take a degree in Norway from certain courses that are taught in Norwegian must meet the college's or university's Norwegian language requirements.

Tea & Coffee: One of the great features of our courses is that we have a short break within the course/classes when you could have a cup of coffee/tea and practise listening and speaking with others in your class in norwegian language.
